Monte Claudell "Butch" Morris, 29, was born on January 20, 1972 in Wichita Falls, Texas and died March 4, 2001 in Edmond. He graduated
from Wichita Falls Rider High School, attended Texas State Technical Institute in Waco and worked as an electronic technician for six years.
Monte is survived by his mother, Virginia Morris, of Lincoln, Mass.; his father, William A. Morris Sr. and wife, Janie, of Shawnee, Okla;
grandmother, Dorothy Bell of Wichita Falls; brother, William A. Morris Jr. and wife, Jennifer, of Hampton, Va.; sisters, Dorena Amen and husband, Greg, of Edmond and Sally Aho and husband, Craig, of Hanscom AFB, Mass.; nephews, Andy Morris, Nikki and Caleb Aho; and niece, Lauren Morris. Monte worked in Oklahoma City and had a host of friends. He had a kind heart and a fun-loving nature. Visitation at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, in Bethany, Monday,
March 12, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Service at 11 a.m., Monday, March 12, at First Presbyterian Church, 1001 N.W. 25th St., Oklahoma City, with interment at 1 p.m. in Waterloo Cemetery, Kelly and Waterloo Road, near Edmond.
