LOCAL MENTION.
Mrs. J.D. Minnis, whose home was six miles east, died Thursday. At this writing, we have no particulars.

OBITUARY.
The following concerning the death of Mrs. J.D. Minnis which we mentioned before, was handed us too late for publication last week:
Mary R. Sterns was born in Carroll county, Missouri, November 10th, 1849 and died May 13th, 1903. She was married to J.D. Minnis in 1866, and was the mother of three children: of them, two are living.
She entered into the army of the Lord when she was about seventeen years of age and lived a consistent Christian life until the Lord called her home.
She leaves a husband and two children, and many relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
