RITES HELD FOR NEWTON MAYFIELD

Newton Mayfield, age 62, died at his home at Pawnee, June 21. Funeral services were held in the Christian church in Mulhall Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Cleon Forbes. Burial in Rose Lawn cemetery. Mr. Mayfield's native state was Indiana. He lived in and around Muhall for about 50 years.

He is survived by his widow and three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Schmitt, Mrs. Rose Jennings and Mrs. Belle Livingston. Burial was under the direction of the Shidler Funeral Home of Shidler, Okla.
