Death Occurred Monday Night at Ten O'clock-
Remains Interred on Tuesday.
Steven Mittasch, son of Mrs. Frank Mittasch, living west of Mulhall, died at the home of his mother on Monday November 18, of quick consumption. He returned from Colorado, where he had gone some time ago for the benefit of his health, on Sunday night. Monday the relatives come for him and carried him home, but he was home only a very short time when he grew much worse and passed away the same evening. He had almost reached his twentieth birthday. The remains were laid away in the Mulhall cemetery on Tuesday. It will be remembered that is father, Frank Mittasch, died only a year or two ago. Much sympathy is expressed for the bereft widow over her irreparable losses. THE ENTERPRISE extends sympathy.

Once again the angel of death has passed over our land and plucked from our midst one of our number in the person of Stephen Mittasch, aged 20 years 1 month and 1 day, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mittasch near Mulhall.
Lightly fold the tired hands
O'er the quiet breast.
Gently close the loving eyes,
Stephen is at rest.
Gently speak and lightly tread
For our darling one is dead.
Yes his brow is marble cold
Hushed the music of his voice.
Nevermore with song to make
Hearts that heard his to rejoice
Yet his song in heaven shall be
Peace through all eternity.
Oh, 'twas hard to him up
None but parents' hearts can know
How we wrestled with our grief,
How we struggled with our woe.
But the Savior heard our prayer
Gave us strength our grief to bear.
Yes, lay him to rest; he hath fallen asleep,
In the summer's bright noonday
No more for him loving vigils keep;
Life hath fled from the marble clay,
Ye cannot break such a dream as this
Death hath wrapped him in a chrysalis.
