Services for Yvonne Payahsape Nakvinda, 55, of Cashion will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2003 at the First Christian Church in Guthrie with the Rev. Kevin Kellogg officiating. Burial will follow in Cashion Cemetery in Cashion under the direction of David Funeral Home of Guthrie.

Yvonne was born Sept. 20, 1947 in Lawton. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she went to her heavenly home on March 31, 2003.

She dedicated her life to caring for those close to her. She touched so many lives and was loved by all who knew her. As a close family friend said, "Yvonne never met a person she didn't love." Her family was not only her relatives, but anyone who needed a roof over their head or a hug.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Joe Roy Nakvinda.

Survivors include her mother, Jean Miller of Choctaw; three children, Chris Cochran and wife Kerry of Cashion, Jeff Cochran of Edmond and Kim Cochran of Cashion; four stepchildren, Joe Nakvinda, Bill Nakvinda and wife Angie, Andrea Nakvinda and Shelly A. Hickman; eight grandchildren, Austin, Cayden, Cale, Taylor, Case, Kynsington, Ashley and Alex; four sisters, four brothers and a host of nieces and nephews. "Noni" will be terribly missed by her grandchildren.
