Funeral services for Curtis Ray Porter, 40, of Crescent, Okla., were held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2001 at Twin Lakes Chapel with Delbert Cronister officiating. Interment was in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery at Crescent under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent.
Curtis was born July 23, 1960 at Castle Air Force Base, California, to Robert and Mary Gilbreath Porter. He died Feb. 14, 2001 in Guthrie.
Survivors include his mother and father, Robert and Mary Porter; his wife, Vickie Porter of the home; two sons, Casey Porter and Chris Porter, both of Moore, Okla.; one step-son, Tyler McDonald of Fairview, Okla.; one daughter, Candace Renae Porter of Moore; three step-daughters, Kendra Ratzlaff and Amanda McDonald of Fairview and Candace Morgan McDonald-Porter of the home; three sisters, Debra Jones and Diane Phillips, both of Crescent and Donna Tart of Royce City, Texas; one grandchild, Kirstyn Ratzlaff of Fairfiew; his mother-in-law, Sue McDonald of Edmond; many friends and numerous other relatives.
