DEER CREEK.
Mrs. Jasper Phelps died at her home last Sunday and was buried Monday in Roselawn cemetery.

MRS. JASPER PHELPS DEAD.
On Sunday, September 5th, Mrs. Jasper Phelps breathed her last at 12 o'clock. Mrs. Phelps has been failing for a year past and the end was not unexpected. Lung trouble was the immediate cause of her death. She was conscious to the last. With her husband, Jasper Phelps, deceased, she, with her family of seven children, came to Oklahoma twelve years ago and settled on a farm four miles west of Mulhall, which was their home until their death.
She leaves a family of eight children. Asa Phelps, a married son, Mrs. W.T.F. Wilson, Mrs. W.W. Miller and Mrs. Hunt, married daughters, were with her. Mrs. Cutler (Nellie) was unable to be present on account of sickness.
Three children are yet at home, Katie, Arch and Dave.
Mary A. Crow was born in Adams county, Illinois, March 11, 1847. She was married to Jasper Phelps December 3, 1865. They had a family of ten children, eight of whom survive her.
The funeral took place Monday from the residence and the burial at Roselawn cemetery where she was laid beside her husband.
