Funeral services for Maggie Pickle, 81, of Coyle, Okla. were 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999 at Choate Prairie Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Ross officiated. Burial was in Choate Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Mills Funeral Home of McAlester, Okla.
Maggie was born Sept. 24, 1918 in Richmond, Texas to Daniel and Lula Mae Bynum Haggard. She died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 1999 at Stillwater Medical Center.
Maggie married James Maitlan Pickle on Jan. 18, 1933 in McAlester and had lived in Indianola for 26 years. She moved to Coyle about a year ago after her husband's death.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one daughter, Barbara Pickle and one grandchild.
Maggie is survived by two daughters, Janelle Pfeifer and Joyce Stepp; two sons, James Pickle, Jr. and Charles Pickle; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
