Peggy Marilyn Pyle
Peggy Marilyn Pyle joined her heavenly family on July 25, 2006 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, following a short battle with cancer.
Peggy was born in Enid, Okla. on May 8, 1948 to Ivis (Shields) McGuar and Aurthur A. McGuar. She
was raised on a farm and went to school in Marshall, Okla. She attended Oklahoma Baptist
University in Shawnee for two years and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in
Edmond. She continued her education with several hours of graduate courses at UCO.
Peggy loved children and spent 47 years teaching in various private and public venues. She most
loved the 12 years she spent at her early childhood facility in Newcastle, Wee the People
Preschool. During her teaching life she taught many, many children and no fewer parents and
grandparents.
Peggy is preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Marie and both parents. She is survived by her
husband Rex and her son Jamie Alan of the home. Her brother Perry McGuar of San Antonio, Texas.
and a multitude of family and friends.
Services will be held Monday, July 31 at 2 p.m. at Southpark Southern Baptist Church located at
S.W. 119th and May Ave. She may be viewed at Baggerly Funeral Home, S.W. 51st and Western,
Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to Hospice of Oklahoma County. She will be cremated following and laid to rest in Crescent
Cemetery, Crescent, Okla.
