Funeral services for Volna Lou Perry, 68, of Edmond, Okla., will be
held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001 in Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Lockridge Christner Cemetery in Deer Creek under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home of Edmond.
Volna Lou was born Feb. 10, 1933 in Martha, Okla., to Arvel and
Gertrude Woodrel. She died Feb. 19, 2001 in Edmond.
In 1955, she married Floyd Perry in Edmond and had been a resident until the time of her death. She was employed at Edmond Hospital. She loved to sing and dance and travel. Her family was the love of her life. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Edmond.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, her parents, one
brother and one sister.
She is survived by her two sons, Rick Perry of the home and Tim Perry of Edmond; one daughter, Jana Wagner and husband Randy, Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Forrest and Randi Wagner; and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her special friend, Terry Brown. Her family wishes everyone to know that "although she is gone she will not be forgotten."
