Services for Clara Belle Redman, 91, of Mulhall will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2002 at Smith memorial Chapel in Guthrie with Minister Gilbert Forrest of Mulhall Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Mulhall under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Redman was born March 27, 1911 in Pleasant Valley to Simon and Clara McLaughlin. She went to Heaven on May 12, 2002 at the age of 91 years, 1 month and 12 day.
She was a resident of Mulhall for 62 years.
She married Klentin Glee Redman on April 27, 1929. To this union, five children were born. Survivors include one daughter, Clara Ketch and husband Alan of Guthrie; two sons, Klentin and wife Pauline and Kermit and wife Guineal, both of Mulhall; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, 10 step-great grandchildren, 17 step great great grandchildren and seveal nieces and nephews.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and aunt. She will really be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glee, in 1986 and two daughters, Eva Louise in 1939 and Cleta Howe Lee in 1999; her father and mother, three brothers, one sister, and two son-in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Preferred Hospice Care of 6619 S. Western, Oklahoma City OK 73112 or to the First chirstian Church of Mulhall, 73063.
Visitation will take place Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.
