Deloris Geraldine, 89, went to be with her Lord Monday, November 7, 2005 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born July 23, 1916 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to George C. and Amy (Green) Story. She met her husband of 65 years, Bernie Robinson at college and was married on May 25, 1940. Deloris graduated from Guthrie High School and Central State Teachers College in Edmond. She was a retired elementary school teacher with over 30 years of service. She had a love of nature, especially for flowers and gardening and being outdoors. Deloris was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband, Bernie; five children, Carolyn Ross and husband John, Sharon Spence and husband Stan, Gary Robinson and wife Shirley, Saundra Goodrich and husband John, Debbie Conrad and husband Hershel; brothers, Lester L. Story and wife Helen and Robert Bland and wife Aileen; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, George Story; her mother, Amy Story Bland; stepfather, Forrest Bland; brother, Cecil Story; sister, LaVina Bowers; and grandson, Brooks Robinson. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 10, 2005 at the 1st Christian Church of Moore.
