DIED: -- in Mulhall, Oklahoma Ty. June 29, 1896, Mrs. Elizabeth Ramsey Robinson, aged 77 yrs. 9 mos. and 26 days. The subject of the above notice was born in Westmoreland Co., Pa. near the city of Saltzburg. She united with the Presbyterian Church in the 17th year of her age, in the year of 1835. In Feb. 1844, she was united in marriage to Mr. ----- Robinson. Her early life was spent in Pa. with her husband. She removed to Mo. afterward to Kansas, thence to Texas, and finally to Oklahoma
The funeral services were largely attended. The funeral sermon was preached by her pastor, Rev. John H. Aughey, from the text Heb. 4-9, "There remaineth, therefore, a rest to the people of God". She had been a member of the Presbyterian church nearly 61 years. She died in the faith and in the assured hope of a glorious immortality. She leaves one son (Robert J. Robinson), three grand children and a host of sorrowing friends to mourn her loss.
