Frances Cherry Reynolds, 74, OKC, went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2003. Born on July 17, 1929 in OKC to Pauline Trice (Cherry) and Schley Alva Dean, Sr. she was married to T. Don Reynolds for 40 years, who preceded her in death.
She was active in several fraternal organizations, including the Siloam Chapter of Eastern Star serving as Worth Grand Matron; the Order of the Amaranth Carter Maupin Court serving as Royal Matron and Grand Royal Matron for the State of Oklahoma; Daughters of the Nile; and Mizpah White Shrine serving as Worthy High Priestess.
She is survived by five children Paula Mullenix, Cherry Goddard and husband Bill, Dona Gilmore and husband Mike, Alva Reynolds and wife Sharon and Sharla Reynolds, eight grandchildren Luke Mullenix, Bo Teske, Jennifer Dixon and husband Kevin, Erya Orcutt, Stephanie Christian and husband Richard, and Alicia, Chris and Evan Reynolds, and one great-grandchildren, Paige Nicole Dixon, all who will miss her dearly.
The family extends its heartfelt thanks to the staff of Integris Baptist Medical Center for the compassionate care she received.
Memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Methodist Church, 8140 NW 36th Sat, Aug 30 at 2:00 p.m., with Dr. Larry Stevens officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (Office of Donor Services, 1311 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, NY 10605).
