L. D. Robinson, age 59, of Guthrie, died at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma County on September 24, 2003. Memorial Services will be at Community Funeral Home on Saturday, September 27, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. with Chaplain, C. W. "Pete" Peterson officiating under the direction of Community Funeral Home.
Memorials are requested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Southwest Region, 4324 N. Beltline Rd., Suite C-206, Irving, Texas, 75038.
Robinson was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on March 1, 1944 to Dolan and Eschol (White) Robinson. He was married to Carlonna Dunford on October 24, 1985 in Arkansas. He was a member of the Southern Baptist Church. Robinson's occupation was a horse trainer. He was a member of the Siloam Lodge No. 276 and Scottish Rite Temple of Guthrie.
Robinson was proceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Eschol of Oklahoma City; his daughter, Kelly Muse and husband Bill of Arlington, Tx., and two step-sons, David Burleigh and wife Kristi of TUlsa and William Burleigh and wife, Ruth of Topeka, Kansas, and one step-daughter Terri Davidson and husband Michael of Harrison, Arkansas.
He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother, Jerry David Robinson and wife Brenda of Oklahoma City, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Larry was a 32nd-degree Mason. The part of his life that he really enjoyed was training and showing horses.
