FORMER GUTHRIAN DIES IN ATCHINSON
Funeral services for Robert Ramsey, former Guthrian, will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at his home in Atchison, Kan. Ramsey died in Atchison Tuesday night, following a long illness.
The former resident of Guthrie was credited with bringing a Carnegie library to Guthrie. He was a friend of Andrew Carnegie, the great philanthropist.
Surviving are a son, Ronald Ramsey, of Atchison; two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Biggs, Grand Junction, Colo., and Mrs. Carl Briner, Zurich, Switzerland.
