The Oklahoma Leader April 20, 1916
Mrs. A. T. Seaman was born in Maysville, Kentucky in 1845, she passed away at her late home on North Pine, early Tuesday. For the winter she had been with her daughter, Mrs. Hill at Norman, until a few weeks ago when she was brought back to the old home for her remaing days, as it was apparent that her illness was incurable. More than a year ago she was compelled to undergo an operation from when she never fully recovered.
She was united in marriage to A. T. Seaman fifty-two years ago in her native Kentucky. To them were born eight children, six of whom with their father remained to mourn the loss of a faithful and loving mother.
For eighteen years the family has lived in the city of Guthrie, where she had endeared herself to her friends in the Circle and to the member of the First M. E. Church, of which she had been a faithful member and worker during her resident here.
The funeral was held at the church Wednesday at 2:0 p.m. The pastor, Mr. Pittenger, was in charge. The burial was in Summit View cemetery.
