Mrs. Nancy Emily Street Schoonover, wife of Joseph Schoonover died at her home in Lovell, April 2. Joseph Schoonover and Nancy Emily Street were united in wedlock when they were both in their teens, Jan. 17, 1856 at Portsmouth, Ohio. Twelve children resulted from the union. All were present at the funeral. Besides the children there are 24 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren living.
Mr. Schoonover was born Jan 25, 1837 and Joseph Schooner was born Feb. 14, 1835. The children here were: Alice Toops, Indiana; Case Schoonover, Ohio; Ross Stapleton, Lovell; Ellen Fieener, Tuttle; Maggie Miller, Guthrie; Joseph Schoonover, Pratt, Kansas; William Schoonover, Oklahoma City; Charles Schoonover, Denver.
