January 28, 1915

Oliver Parker Shields died at his parent's home, south of the city, Friday, January 22, after an illness of sixteen days. "Ollie," as he was familiarly known, was a bright youth. He was 17 years old and gave promise of a useful future. The boy was interred at Seward Cemetery, Saturday morning.
