At their home, one-half mile north of Mulhall, Wednesday morning, June 3d, 1903, at 10:25, Mrs. Wm. Terrell in her eightieth year, passed into rest.
Mrs. Terrell, whose maiden name was Margaret Doak, was born in Virginia in 1823. She was married to Wm. Terrell fifty-nine years ago; they had nine children born to them, eight of them now living. With her husband and several children, she came to Oklahoma twelve years ago. About three years ago, they bought a home in Missouri, and removed there, but returned here for the sake of Mr. Terrell's health; but a few weeks ago, she was taken sick, and gradually grew weaker until the end came. Her death was very peaceful; her pastor, Rev. D.L. Edwards, visited her during her sickness, and always found her cheerful and ready to depart. Just before she died, she said to her husband, "William, I am passing; I am going home." And asked that all the children be written to, telling them of her death and that "she had gone home."
