Services were held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the Smith and Gooch funeral home for Mrs. Mary Thornton, 74, who died Monday morning at the Masonic home here. Rev. W. L. Smith, pastor of the West Guthrie Methodist church officiated at the services.

Burial was made at Summit View cemetery. Surviving are a brother, Jacob S. Peason, of Oilton, Okla. And a sister, Mrs. Anna J. Kennedy, of Red Rock, Oklahoma.
