Charles W. VanMeter was born near Buffalo, N. Y., Oct. 27, 1848, and died at Guthrie, July 24, 1916, aged 67 years, 8 months and 27 days. He was married to Miss Mary A Curtis on January 1, 1874 to which union two boys were born, William of Guthrie, and James of Cushing. Interrment - Summit View Cemetery.
