"TAPS" SOUNDS FOR ANOTHER WAR VETERAN
Capt. A. B. Wyatt, aged 82, died Thursday morning at his residence, 14 East Mansur, after a brief illness. He was born in Edgar County, Ill., was married there in 1858 and moved the next year to Bourbon County, Kansas. He served during the rebellion in the Second Kansas Light Artillery and moved to Oklahoma at the opening. He leaves a wife, three sons, J. W. Wyatt, Brownstown, Ill..; Jacob Wyatt, Ft. Scott, Kan., and R. F. Wyatt, Perry, Okla., and a daughter, Mrs. R. D. Stewart, of Guthrie.
There will be a short funeral at the home Friday at 12:30 under direction of Rev. T. S. Pittenger, assisted by the Grand Army of the Republic. The remains will be escorted to the Ft. Smith train and taken to Kansas for interment.
