Daisy Rachel Wilder, 92, entered into rest January 27. She is survived by her children Melba Kathern McKey, Everette Harold and Floyd Dwayne; 5 grandchildren Kathy Davey, Robert McKey, Karen McKey, Cindy Carter, David Wilder; 13 great grandchildren Ron Davey, Jr., Greg Davey, Jeff Davey, Katie Moore, Kevin Davey, Michelle Davey, Devon McKey, Rachelle Smith, Robert Cole McKey, Chad Duran, Marcus Choudhary, Brittany Carter and Alicia Carter; and 3 great-great grandchildren Aurora Davey, Reece Smith and Christian Loren Smith. Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, Everette, and son, Donald Eugene.
Daisy was born in Prague, Oklahoma April 17, 1913 to Henderson and Melissa Fiscus. She married Everette Wilder in Guthrie Oklahoma on November 18, 1930. Among the things Daisy enjoyed throughout her life were sewing clothes for her growing family, sewing curtains and tablecloths for her home, as well as arts and crafts projects. She also took pride in her job as a retail clerk for the Kress Dime Store.
Visitation, Monday, January 30th, 5-8 PM; and funeral service, Tuesday, January 31st, 2:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver.
Daisy will be laid to rest beside her husband, Everette, in Victor Cemetery, Mulhall, (Logan County) Oklahoma.
