Services are pending with Davis Funeral Home in Guthrie for Kermit T. Wilson, 82, of Guthrie. Wilson died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie.

Mass of Christian burial for Kermit T. Wilson, 82, of Guthrie will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2003 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guthrie with the Rev. Denis G. Hanrahan officiating. Interment will follow in Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie under the direciton of Davis Funeral Home.
Wilson was born may 26, 1920 in Navina to Elmer and Cleda (Todd) Wilson. He died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie.
Kermit had lived in this area all of his life. He retired from the U. S. government as a rural mail carrier. he was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, serving as an engineer during World War II. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Guthrie American Legion LeBron Post No. 58.
He married Alice Y. Griffin on June 1, 1950 in Navina.
Survivors include his wife Alice of the home; one son, Bill Wilson of Guthrie; one sister, Virginia Irving and husband Frank of Kiezer, Ore.; one granddaughter, Angela Narciso and husband Kerwin of Hampton, Va.; one great-grandson, Aaron Narciso of Hampton, Va.; and 10 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harold Wilson.
A prayer vigil will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel Thursday beginning at 7 p.m.
