Lawrence Roy Yost, 82, of Kingfisher, Okla. passed away Monday, Nov. 22, 1999 at Kingfisher Regional Hospital in Kingfisher, Okla. He was a farmer in the Kingfisher area all of his life. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999 at First Baptist Church in Kingfisher under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home of Kingfisher.

Lawrence was born Sept. 23, 1917 to Henry and Cora Bredel Yost.

He married Wilma June Geis on Aug. 24, 1947.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother and one sister.

He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Yost and his wife Sue of Kingfisher and Gene Yost and his wife Chris of Crescent; three grandchildren, Brandon Yost of Kingfisher, Bridget Birdwell and her husband, Joel, of Stillwater and Sarah Yost of Crescent; two brothers, Ervan Yost of Omega and Herbert Yost of Kingfisher; one sister, Florine Jindra of Kingfisher and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
