Funeral services for Myrtle Irene Yiengst, 79, of Coyle, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, in Trinity Community Church in Coyle with Pastor Martin Gebhart officiating. Burial will be in Clarkson Cemetery in Coyle, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Guthrie, Okla.

Myrtle was born July 31, 1921 in Westchester, Iowa to Lester and Celia (Lewis) Epling. She died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001 at Colonial Estates Nursing Home in Guthrie.

Myrtle had lived in this area for the past 19 years, moving here from Kansas. She was a housewife and homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Doris Long and husband, Warren, of Coyle; one brother, Lester Gene Epling of Henderson, Nev.; four grandsons, Rick Long and wife, Lesley, David Long and wife, Vedia, Carl Long and wife, Karen, all of Coyle and Terry Long of Huntsville, Ark; 11 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
