The Capitol National Bank was organized in 1892 and once took a foremost rank among the solid financial institutions of the Territory. In 1896, the bank was reorganized, George E. Billinglsey, late of Greenville, Miss, becoming President and A. G. Brower of Utica, N. Y. one of the largest stockholders. Mr. Billingsley brought to the position, an extended business training and a close acquaintance with many of the great commercial interest of the country.
Directors of the bank were Charles E. Billingsley, A. G. Brower, Fred C. Dolcater, W. S. Stiles and George H. Dodson.
