Stockade School House
six miles west and two miles south of Guthrie was built in 1890 and served 12 years as a school. Harry Swanson of Guthrie attended school there. The building was later torn down and part of the poles, flooring and ceiling were used to make a stable which is still standing on the Lyle Halstead farm in the same general area.
