Solon Jackson, 99, dies; Services Set for Sunday. Funeral services for Solon L. Jackson, 99 year old pioneer Muskogeean, who died late Thursday night, will be conducted at the Elm Grove School at 2:30 p. m. Sunday with Rev. W. C. Henderson and Rev. Claud Minnick officiating.
Pallbearers will be Ralph, Von and Henry Scott, Bill and Virgil Jackson, and James Dugan, all grandsons of Jackson. The Lescher Funeral Home will direct interment in the Elm Grove Cemetery.
Jackson was born February 16, 1849 in Gainsborough, Tenn. and moved to Muskogee in 1887. He was a retired former-stockman. Surviving are a son, W. E. Jackson of 317 South Eight, three daughters, Annie Jackson of the home, Susan Stout and Annetta Lamascus, both of Elm Grove; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
