Reverend Robinson was told that the picture below was that of Chotkey(Choctah)James, the father of Nancy(above). However, Chotkey James had a second wife Millie or Mary whose father was "Fiddler John". It is possible that this picture is Fiddler John rather than Chotkey James. Nancy's mother was Betsy James who had died by 1901. The James family is Creek. Henry Edward Robinson was Cherokee.
