Former Antlers resident, Reba Boyers, age 88, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2001 at Madill, Oklahoma.

Reba BUSH [Savage] Boyers was born January 27, 1913 in Altus, Oklahoma to Luther and Bessie DUDLEY Bush. She worked as a seamstress for over a half century. She lived in Arkansas, Texas, and New Mexico, before returning to the Antlers area in 1976. She was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge as a doe; and a member of the Rebecca's at the Odd Fellows Lodge; & Little Axe First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eddie Savage, her second husband, Wayne Boyers, two daughters: Baby daughter Savage and Owene SAVAGE Reeves in 1957; one son: DeLoy Savage in 1985. Survived by: two sons: Dudley and Max Savage; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were 2:00 PM Saturday, March 31, 2001 at the First Baptist Church in Antlers. Reverend Sam Dyer officiated.

Interment was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery under the direction of Mt. Olive Funeral Home in Antlers, Oklahoma.
