Dalton Allen, 7-year-old Sharon resident, died Feb. 22, 2007 at Woodward Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. in the Mutual High School Gym. The Rev. Jeff Bradley will officiate. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Dalton Ray Jack Allen was born July 19, 1999 at Woodward to Eric Jack and Brenda Lee (Baird) Allen. Dalton was in the kindergarten class of Sharon Elementary School. He loved to ride his four wheeler, go fishing, playing t-ball, but most of all, playing with his pirate and dragon toys. He especially enjoyed his time in the evenings spent with his mother right before bedtime, when they would race to the bed to see who got there first. He was his dad's special little buddy.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Donna Baird.

He is survived by his parents; one sister, LaDonna Allen; his maternal grandparents, Wesley (Butch) and Susan Baird; his paternal grandparents, Larry and Patricia Allen; his great-grandfather, Noce Evans, his great-grandmother, Betty Fisher, all of Woodward; one aunt, Donna Jacobson and husband, Tim, and their children, Elliott and Deonna; an uncle, Jonathan Baird and his son, Seth; many other great aunts and uncles; other relatives and many friends.

Memorials can be made to the Dalton Allen Memorial Fund with the funeral home acting as custodian of the funds.
