Baker, 84 Funeral services for Sidney C. Baker, 84, retired farmer of 1421 Sixth Street, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Stecher Mortuary. The Rev. Lonzo Battles, pastor of the First United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Mr. Baker was born in Pottawatomie County, Okla., Aug. 15, 1899 and died in Woodward Memorial Hospital, Sunday following a lengthy illness. When he was one year old he moved with his parents to a farm six miles southeast of Woodward, and has made his home in and near Woodward since that time. On September 11, 1920 he was married to Eunice E. Kea and she preceded him in death on June 2, 1951. On Oct. 14, 1952 he was married to Mrs. Emma Feese and she preceded him in death on Feb. 8, 1970. He and Lola Knight were married in Woodward on Oct. 18, 1976. He was a member of Presbyterian Church. Besides his wife, Lola, of the home, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Joyce Elizabeth) West, Borger, Tex., Mrs. Helen Maxine Wade, Cordell, and Mrs. Mary Louise Biggers, El Reno; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
