Tangier, Okla. April 13, 1908
Lois Eunice Bosserman was born near Goltry, Okla. April 2, 1906 at the age of nine mos. she began to walk, and her little, sweet loving face, moving to and fro afforded much delight to her parents. She promised to be a singer and before two years of age would join her sweet voice with others in singing songs. She could sing the pitches alone, she had learned a great many words and the ideas they convey. She appreciated doing little errands for others and when asked to do a favor, would say "all yite." April 5, 1908 she broke out with the measles which resulted in a complication of diseases the most prominent being spinal Meningitis. She lay in semi-unconscious condition from the 7th till the 12th and while thus preyed upon, and the parents, brothers and sister were near her little crib one day, the words "all yite" were audibly uttered, seemingly as a memento by which her departure would be robbed of its bitterness. 8 o'clock a.m. April 12, 1908, she calmly embarked for the "sweet home of the soul" to realize what she would sing in part: And I shall see Him face to face And tell the story "saved by dace."
Little Eunice Bosserman died Sunday morning and the funeral services conducted by Rev. Shires, were held at the cemetery in the afternoon. She was two and a half years old and a very bright child.
