Letha Buczinski, 86-year-old Woodward resident, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 in the Woodward Regional Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2006 in the Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Junior Zollinger officiating. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Letha Mae Buczinski was born January 17, 1920 in Harmon, Okla. to Ira and Winnie (O'Hair) Sober. She grew up on a farm two miles east of Harmon. She was united in marriage to Michael Buczinski on June 1, 1940. They made their home in Woodward for 66 years.
Letha loved her home, yard and garden. She especially loved growing her many flowers. They received yard of the month several times. She was a very devoted wife to Mike all through the years.
She is survived by her husband Mike of the home; one sister Patsy McFarland and husband Duane of Woodward; sister-in-law, June Sober also of Woodward; one brother Jerry Sober and wife Doris of Douglas, Wyoming; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Winnie Sober, her brother John Sober and sister Dorothy Hanlon and her husband Pat.
