Robert "Bob" Earl Crow, 59, of Woodward, passed away Friday, July 6, 2007, at Woodward Regional Hospital after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2007 in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Steenbergen officiating. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Robert Earl Crow was born Jan. 22, 1948, to Joseph and Opal (Garvin) Crow at Husband Memorial Hospital in Hollis, Oklahoma. He attended Ron Schools through fourth grade until the family moved to Ft. Supply. He finished school and graduated from Ft. Supply in 1966. He began his life-long career as a mechanic at age 15 at Gaston Oil Company in Ft. Supply. For the next 25 years, he worked at various garages, including his own, before joining the Ford dealership, now McKay Ford.

On Sept. 24, 2002 he was united in marriage to Jennie Harris in Laughlin, Nev. To this union he brought four children: Stacie, Sean, Donnie and Ashleigh. He welcomed into his family Jennie's two children: Brenda and Rick.

Bob‚s 44-year career as an automotive technician included employment at Boomer Buick, Bob Atkins Pontiac, Crow Automotive, Sooner Automotive and Salvage, Northwest Ford, Lodes Ford and McKay Ford. With the support of Jim McKay and his coworkers, his career culminated at McKay Ford where he was able to achieve the honor of Certified Master Technician through Ford Motor Company. He also won the Woodward News "Best of the Best" award for automotive mechanic in 2001.

Whether on his front porch glider or on the deck in the back yard, Bob thoroughly enjoyed being outside. He was unique in his great passion for his work. He looked forward to work everyday. Above all, he loved spending time with his friends and family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Opal (Garvin) Crow and his sister Jean Henry.

He leaves as his survivors his wife, Jennie, of the home; six children, Stacie Brinkley and husband Terry of McAlester, Sean Crow and wife Patti of Mooreland, Donnie Crow and wife Tara of Woodward, Ashleigh McClung and husband Patrick of Yukon, Brenda Randolph and husband Steve of Vici, and Rick Smith and wife Tina of Woodward; one brother Joe Crow and wife Alice of Hollis; one brother-in-law K.R.
