Dorothy "Dot" (Robinson) Duckett was born in Dothan, Ala. on Oct. 10, 1938 to Henry and Alice (Pearce) Robinson. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at the age of 68 years.

Dot was raised in Newville, Ala. with her beloved brother, Jack Robinson, and her sister, Emma Jean. She attended high school in Newville, and on Feb. 16, 1955 she married Gordon Morrison in Headland, Ala. They were blessed with two daughters, Kelly Lee and Kendra Kay. Dot and Gordon owned and operated a Dairy Queen franchise in Richmond, Va. for several years. She and Gordon moved to Anchorage, Alaska where they lived for one year and then moved to Woodward in 1969. While in Woodward, Dot and Gordon managed the Briarwood Apartments and she also worked for several years as a clerk at Bogdahn's retail pharmacy. Dot and Gordon were married for 25 years.

On Jan. 10, 1981 Dot married Lanny Duckett of Woodward Okla. Dot and Lanny enjoyed many activities together including dancing and going to both Shriner and Elk‚s Lodge events. Dot enjoyed gardening and working around the house. She and Lanny always had some type of "home improvement" project going on.

Dot suffered a severe stroke in 1990, which left her partially paralyzed. In 1999, after Lanny retired (due to the onset of Alzheimer's disease) they decided to move to Greensboro, N. C., where they lived in an assisted living center near Lanny's daughter and Dot's stepdaughter, Lana Edwards. In 2002 they returned and moved into the Vici Nursing home.

Dot was a loving wife to Lanny, always making sure that he received the best possible care during his illness. She continued to be involved in the lives of her daughters, stepdaughters, grandchildren, and thoroughly enjoyed her great-granddaughter, Lily Grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Alice Robinson, her sister, Emma Jean (Robinson) Carter.
