Albert P. "Al" Fearn, 77-year-old Vici area resident, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006 in Edmond. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2006 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev, Jay Custar officiating. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Albert Paul Fearn was born Nov. 2, 1929 in Cisni, Ill. to Roy Glen and Alta Aleen (Scott) Fearn. Al was reared in Illinois and graduated from Cisni High School in 1947. Al was married at a young age and to this union one daughter was born, Linda Paulette. Al worked in the oilfield in several different states including, Wyoming, Nebraska, Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma. He also owned his own business in the oilfield for a period of time. In 1989 he was married to Helen Margaret White in Higgins, Texas. They made their home west of Vici. Al retired from the oilfield in 2003 and continued raising his cattle on the ranch.

He and Helen loved fishing and camping together. They also loved spending time with their family.

He is survived by his wife Helen Fearn of the home; one daughter Linda Paulette Partridge and husband Russell of Calif.; two brothers, Jack Fearn and wife Carol of Cisni, Ill.; Max Fearn and wife Marcia of Ibel, Kentucky.; step-children, Donnie, Douglas, and Richard Karpe, JoAnne Savage, and Vonietta Wyatt; numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other relatives and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-daughter, Janice Stader and a step-great-great grandson.
