Woodward News 24 Oct 1969 Services Set Saturday For D. M. Good

Douglas Marion Good, 1401 13th Street, died at a nursing home here Wednesday night.

He was born in Moodyville, Kans., September 3, 1879. He moved to Belva area in 1900 where he farmed. On May 27, 1928, he was married to Frances Opal Kysar at Quinlan. They moved to Woodward in August 1968. He was a member of Christian church.

Survivors are his widow, Frances, of the home; three sons, Vernon, Wichita, Kans., Floyd, Bethany; D. J. Mossville, Ill., four daughters, Connie Usher, Sedan, Kans.; Inez Marshall, Wichita; Mabel Clothier, Woodward; Flora O'Conner, Guymon; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at Quinlan Methodist church at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Barrett Moore, pastor of First Christian church Woodward, officiating. Burial will be in West Creek cemetery near Belva under direction of Marshall - Mason funeral home, Waynoka.
