Grady Graham Jr., 76-year-old Perryton resident, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007 at the Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton. Interment services were held Monday, Feb. 12, 2007 at 3 p.m. in the Ochiltree County Cemetery under the direction of Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.

Grady was born July 27, 1930 at Vamoosa, Okla. to Grady Franklin and Pearl (Beddo) Graham. He attended school at Vamoosa and grew into his manhood in this community. Grady was drafted into the U. S. Army and served in the Korean War for two years.

Grady was united in marriage to Virginia Lee Tate in Arkansas. They lived in Konawa, Okla., for a time, making their home in Perryton in 1957. Grady began work for the George Lease Oilfield Service Company as a field foreman where he worked until his retirement in 1995.

In his leisure time, Grady enjoyed watching sports on television, especially football, baseball and golf. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren gave him the most enjoyment in life. His family will cherish the many good memories of happy times spent with Grady.

Grady was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Warren Graham and his beloved wife Virginia Lee.

Grady is survived by a son and his wife Richard and Malynda Graham of Austin, Texas; a daughter and her husband Shirley and Steve Williams of Woodward, Okla.; five grandchildren, Ryan Williams and Katy Scasta of Perryton, Keri Rachel Gibson and husband Chad of Woodward and Dennis, Kevin and Kimberly Graham, all of Austin, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Tate Lee Williams, Kylnn Jordan Gibson and Bree Analee Gibson; one brother Billy Graham and wife Marilyn of Konawa, Okla.; two sisters Jean Litterell and husband Jim of Oklahoma City and Wanda Brown and husband Luther of Byng, Okla.; other relatives and many friends.
