Fenton Woodrow Harper

Fenton Woodrow Harper, a resident of LaMirada, Calif., died February 2, 1990, in a hospital in Orange, Calif. Funeral services were held at MaAulay and Wallace Chapel Friday in Fullerton, Calif.

Burial was in the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif.

Fenton was born at Quinlan on June 19, 1911,to Ernest and Hannah Harper.

He attended Mooreland schools and graduated from Mooreland high school in 1930. After graduation he was in QC Camp in Colorado, then he was a security guard at El Reno at the time of his induction into the Army as a military police. He was on the Los Angeles police force.

After his honorable discharge he worked for Los Angeles Light and Power Company for 35 years. At the time of his death he was working as a security guard.

Survivors are a daughter, Susan Kane; a son, Sam Harper; a grandson; a granddaughter; a great grandson; four brothers, Herman and Vernon of Mooreland, Francis of Oklahoma City, Howard of Sharon, and one sister, Margaret Lewis of Woodward, and a host of relatives and friends.
