Haskins Rites Set Friday In Woodward

Funeral services for Warren R. Haskins, 65, retired state highway maintenance superintendent and a resident of 1901 First Street, Woodward, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Stecher Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Wendyl Glenn, pastor of Elm Street Baptist Mission, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.

Mr. Haskins died late Tuesday at Northwest Community hospital, Mooreland following a lengthy illness.

He was born on a farm north of Mooreland on September 10, 1909 and on January 24, 1937 was married to Lillie E. Cammerer and she preceded him in death on May 4, 1966. He worked for the State Highway department 25 years and retired in September 1974. On March 28, 1967 he was married to Mrs. Eva Foust, and she survives. He was a member of the Christian church.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Lloyd Haskins, of Sallisaw; two step-sons, Lloyd Foust of warner Robins, Ga., and Kenneth Foust of Keyes; a step-daughter, Mrs. Verna Mae Schafer, of Garland, Tex.; a brother, Borice V. Haskins of Mooreland; three sisters, Mrs. Retta Munssel, Wichita, Kans.; Mrs. Roselia Mason of Woodward, and Mrs. Zella Ramey of Mooreland and 17 grandchildren.
