Rites Pend For Fred Hawkins

Funeral arrangements for Fred Hawkins, 86, 0f 701 17th, Woodward are incomplete and will be announced later by the Armstrong Funeral Home.

James Frederick Haskins was born near Coates, Kans., September 1, 1884. He later moved with his parents to the Haskew community north of Mooreland. On October 10, 1905, he was married to Vella Patton. They made their home on a farm until 1937 when they moved to Woodward. He was a member of the First Baptist church of Woodward.

Survivors include his wife, Vella, of th home, one son, Elvin also of the home; a niece Mrs. Violet Sampson of Iowa.
