Funeral services for Vivian Henson, 93-year-old Woodward resident, will be Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 2 p.m. at the graveside in the Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward. The Rev. Rodney Shields will officiate. Arrangements are by Johnson's Good Samaritan Fuenral service.

Vivian Irene Henson was born April 29, 1913 in Woodward, Okla., the first of five children, to Harley and Myrtle (Knox) Brown. She grew up in Woodward and attended business college. She was married to Earl Steed. They resided in Woodward and later Kansas. Two children were born to this union. Vivian later returned to Woodward and was married to Harvey Henson. They made their home in the state of Washington for many years before returning to Woodward. Mr. Henson died in 1997.

Vivian was a faithful and active member of the Bible Missionary Church in Woodward.

Mrs. Henson died January 19, 2007 at the Grace Living Center in Woodward.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lavera Turner and Neva Cook.

She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Shirley and Ray Raphael of Beverly Hills, Fla.; a son and his wife, Gary and Carol Steed of Grand Junction, Colo.; a brother and his wife, Harley and Wandalee Brown; a sister and her husband, Pearl and R.K. Ogden; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other relatives.
