Andrew Jay Horner

Andrew Jay Horner was born July 28, 1872 at Bloomdale, Ohio, and was at the time ofhis passing 65 years, seven months and four days old. At the age of 12 he moved with his parents from Bloomdale to Fredonia, Kas. He was united in marriage to Chrissie Ellen Damewood, Dec. 23, 1891, and to this union 12 children were born. In 1902 he moved to May, where he resided until 1928 when he moved to Woodward and has lived here and at Sharon since. He was in business for five years at Sharon, and five years at Woodward.

To mourn his passing are his wife, five sons and six daughters; Mrs. H. C. Dale, Marston, Mo.; B. E. Horner, May; M. M. Horner, Mrs. Fred Chenoweth, Coats, Kas.; Mrs. Howard Mason, Ray Horner and Mrs. Appleford of Detroit, Mich.; Boyd Horner, Mrs. Brockleman, Mrs. Frank Wood and Billy Horner, all of Woodward. One son, Alpha, preseeded him in death.

All of his children attented the funeral.
