Keith Hudson, 70, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and former Mooreland and Fort Supply resident, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in Bedford, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2007 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel in Woodward with the Rev. Randy Hodgson officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Grover Keith Hudson was born on Dec. 18, 1936 in Woodward; he was the son of Fred and Ellen Hudson. He was raised in Fort Supply, Woodward, and Mooreland where he was active in FFA, basketball, and football. He graduated from Mooreland High School in 1955. He attended college at Northwestern State College in Alva. Keith joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas and Fort Dix, N. Je. in 1957 and 1958. He lived in Enid most of his life, except for a few years in Irving, Texas. He was a carpet layer for many years and later retired from the Shebester-Bechtel Oilfield Services in 1998.

Keith was a great Dad to seven kids, Lesley, Kelley, Timmy, Robin, Michael, Tommy, and Joel. He loved his parents, Fred and Ellen. He loved all his family and all sports. He loved watching his kids and later his grandkids in any sports they played. He loved life and he lived it to its fullest.

Keith is survived by his sister Marilyn McGlamery and husband Marshal of Savoy, Ill.; his brother Jim Hudson and wife Nancy of Enid; his daughter Robin Lynch and husband Randy of Bedford, Texas; his sons, Lesley Hudson and wife Patti of Yukon; Kelley Hudson of El Reno; Tim Hudson and wife Stacey of Yukon; Michael Hudson and wife Michelle of Pearland, Texas; stepsons Tommy Warren and wife Allison of Woodenville, Wash.; Joel Warren of Enid; 17 grandchildren, Kara, Kali, Kami, Lauren, Colby, Rachel, Aubree, Scott, Aaron, Alexxa, Miranda, Mitchell, Grant, Ashley, Katelyn, Clinton and Trevor; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ellen Hudson of Woodward.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in honor of Collin Curry.
