Ray Kelting, 59, Mooreland, died Saturday in Baptist Medical center in Oklahoma City following a job-related accident.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mooreland First Baptist Church with the Rev. Cal Hunter and the Rev. J. T. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Mooreland Cemetery under direction of Billings Funeral Home.

Raymond Edgar Kelting was born in Bridgeport, Neb., May 25, 1925. He moved at the age of five to Lone Wolf with his parents. He attended and graduated from Lone Wolf High School in 1944. He served in the U.S. army in world War II. On March 15, 1948 he was married to Betty Ruth Pruitt in Vernon, Tex. They made their home in Lone Wolf before moving to several towns in southwestern Oklahoma while he worked for a construction company. On Feb. 1, 1954 he began working for Western Farmers Electric Co-op. They moved to Mooreland in August, 1962. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was serving as a deacon.

Survivors are his wife, Betty, of the home; one daughter, Beverly, and one son, Ronnie, both of Mooreland; one sister, Mrs. Esther Green, Tulsa; two brothers, Ralph Kelting, Pittsburg, Kans., and LeRoy Kelting, Las Vegas, Nev.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Baptist Children's Home which will be built in Mooreland. The First State Bank of Mooreland will act as custodian for the fund.
