David L. Louden, 53-year-old Woodward resident, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 at his home in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brett Allen officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008 at the funeral home.

David Louis Louden was born on April 16, 1954 in Shelbyville, Ky., he was the son of James and Edith ( Kemp) Louden. He had four brothers, Robert, James, Tom and Michael. David attended Henry County High School graduating in 1973. David worked in carpentry the majority of his life working as a commercial carpenter. On Nov. 22, 1979, he was married to Leatha Gay Webster. They made their home in Woodward. To this union, two children were born Aleatha and Daven.

David was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Leatha of the home; one son Daven Louis Louden and fiancee Alysha Adams of Woodward; one daughter Aleatha Tomas Louden-Bishop and husband Sean of Mooreland; three grandchildren, Zachary Shane Louden; Elizabeth Danielle Bishop and Andrew Louis Bishop; four brothers, James Louden and wife Rita; Robert Hayes of Bedford, Ky.; Tom Louden of Sulpher, Ky.; Michael Grider of Louisville, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
