Mrs. Marion Love, 80-year-old Woodward resident, died early Mondayin the Woodward Hospital and Health Center. Funeral services will be help at 10 a.m. thursday in the Faith United Methodist Church with the Reverend Patrick Buss officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemtery under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Marion Delp Love was born June 10, 1909 in Woodward; she was the daughter of Charles and Mina Delp. She attended Little Jewel Country school. On September 28, 1925, she was married to Henry Royce Love in Newkirk. They lived in Blackwell for a short time before moving to Borger, Texas. In 1927, they returned to a farm southwest of Woodwawrd. In 1940, they moved to Tonganoxia, Kansas where they were both employed by the United States Government at a defense plant. They also farmed until retirement and than moved back to Woodward in 1976. Her husband preceded her in death on March 15, 1989.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Charlotte freed and husband, Leroy; one nephew, Ralph Baird, Jr.; one niece, Geraldine Baird; one brother-in-law, Ralph Baird, Sr., all of Woodward; and close relatives, Mrs. Beulah (Love) Donley, Woodward; Mrs. Jean (Eagon) Harper, Sharon; Lee Love, Sharon; Neva Kennedy, Lamont; Opal Chapman, Quintar, KS., Melvin Rittenhouse, Woodward, Melvin Rittenhouse, Woodard, Harold Jones, Morginfield, KY, and Evelyn Smith, Katy, TX.
